How do I set up an alert for a search on EBSCO interfaces (the Hub and EBSCOhost)?
Search alerts are set from the results page for your search using the three dots and clicking Create Alert.
If you have rerun a Saved Search you may not have any terms showing in the Search box but if you have results you should be able to proceed.

Follow the on screen prompts - you can edit the alert name, add a description and select the frequency of Alerts (daily, weekly or monthly)

All alerts are automatically given a one year expiry period - you will be prompted to renew the alert before it expires.
You can also choose if you get an email whether there are new results or not.

Note that if you create Alerts in the Hub then it will run against all the resources searched by the Hub. If you want to have an alert on a specific database (such as Medline or CINAHL) then set up the alert in EBSCOhost.
You can edit or delete updates from the Alerts section of MyEBSCO if you find you are receiving too many.
