What are the copyright implications of INCDocs?
INCDocs only includes NHS and NHS-contracted library services in England, who are by definition able to supply copies under the terms of the CLA Licence for the NHS in England, so you may safely assume that all the copies you supply – and receive – via INCDocs are covered by the Licence.
Library services which supply articles via INCDocs do not need to include a statement clarifying that the article has been supplied under the Licence because that may be assumed. Library services which request and receive articles via INCDocs on behalf of service users should however include the following statement when forwarding the copy onwards:
This copy has been supplied to you under the terms of the CLA Licence for the NHS in England. You may store your own copy (e.g. on your personal drive or own PC), and make further copies for other NHS colleagues in England. You may store it on a secure NHS network, but not place it on the internet. Thank you for your co-operation.

User declarations are not required for copies made under the Licence. If you are not able to source the article via INCDocs, you may end up having to supply a Library Privilege copy from a non-NHS source, in which case you would need to obtain a declaration.
