How can I suspend my participation temporarily in INCDocs?
You may find that you are unable to supply articles temporarily, e.g. because your library is closed. If you will be in this position for at least 5 days, please log this using this template request via the Hub Service Desk, stating the start and end date, the reason, and giving as much notice as possible. There is no need to log a suspension on the Hub Service Desk if it will last less than 5 days. You will then be opted out for this period and won't receive requests through INCDocs.
Please state an end date rather than 'until further notice'. If you find that you need to extend the end date, please respond to the call you have logged to extend the end date.
You may continue to request through INCDocs during this period.
Please also continue for the time being to follow your regional procedure for notifying your region of any such dates. This is so that libraries outside the NHS in your regional network are kept informed.
It's not possible in INCDocs to be 'last resort', i.e. still available for supply but last on the list of possible libraries. This is because of the way that INCDocs automatically randomises libraries, libraries are either 'in' or 'out'.
