2. Type your username/cardnumber (either will work) and password into the correct fields.

3. If you work across more than one library, also make sure you select your correct location from the library selector. “My library” defaults to the library your account is registered to.
4. If you’ve already set up two-factor authentication then you should see this box:

Use the code on your paired authenticator app, or if this is unavailable you can send a code to the email address for the account you’re logging in to.
These codes should be valid for five minutes.
5. If you have logged in correctly you will see the staff interface home page:

6. Troubleshooting
a. If you see this error, check the spelling of your username and password:

b. If you see this error, contact the service desk as your regional administrator needs to add the correct permissions to your account:

c. If you see this error, refresh the page or start a new browser session and try again. If it still doesn’t work, clear your browser’s cache. If this doesn’t work, contact the service desk:

d. If you see a QR code then you need to do the first-time setup of two factor authentication. Scan the QR code on an authenticator app and then pair the app with Koha by entering the current six-digit code the app displays for your Koha account. This will change every 30 seconds but this setup only needs doing once.
e. If you lose access to your authenticator app, you can reset your own 2FA. Log in using an email code, navigate to your user details page, and then in “More” click “Manage two-factor authentication”. In the next page click the disable button and then when you re-enable you’ll see the QR code mentioned in number 4 above. Pair the new app with this and enter the 6-digit code displayed.
f. If you forget your password, contact the service desk to have a regional administrator reset your password or send you the password reset email.
