In order to administer OpenAthens you need administrative rights.  


If there is already someone in your organisation with administrator rights, they can set you up as an additional administrator - see https://docs.openathens.net/libraries/how-to-add-an-administrator for more information about how to do this.


If there is no-one in your organisation who is currently an administrator, please contact the service desk and they will arrange the set-up for you.


You also need to read and agree to the GDPR statement. Once you've read it, please send an email to nhsathens@nice.org.uk, putting OA admin GDPR statement in the subject line, and stating that you understand and agree to use the data as set out in this statement.

If you are the administrator for multiple organisations, you only need to reply once, indicating the organisations for which you are responsible.


If you share administrator duties with anyone else, they must also follow these steps.
