How can I link to the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub in OpenAthens?
If you want the hub to show in your list of resources in OpenAthens, you can create a custom link via the OpenAthens admin portal.
To do this, go to the OpenAthens admin portal.
On the Dashboard, click on the Resources button:
Click on Custom, then Create:
Enter the following details:
- Title: NHS Knowledge and Library Hub
- Description: as much or as little as you'd like to provide to describe the resource
- Access url: ensure that you enter your EDS local instance URL as you are coming from OpenAthens you should use the non guest URL. You can find your local instance URL in the "What's my local instance?" article.
Once created, allocate the resource by clicking on the arrow next to the Green Allocate button and select Cascade (pick This Organisation and all Sub-Organisations):
This will then appear in your list of resources on both your MyAthens page, and the NICE OpenAthens pages (https://openathens.nice.org.uk/Auth/Login).
