How do I add a bespoke QR code to the editable NHS Knowledge and Library Hub posters?
The editable publicity posters for the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub that you can find here include space for a QR code. Adding a bespoke QR code for your instance of the Hub will mean that your users can go straight to the right site for all your local content and services.
It's quick and easy to create a bespoke QR code using one of the many free QR code generators (eg https://www.qr-code-generator.com/ or https://www.wix.com/tools/qr-code-generator). All you need to do is enter the URL for your local instance. Make sure you're using the URL below, and adding your own EBSCO customer ID nsxxxxxx (you can find your EBSCO customer ID in the FAQ article What's my local instance?):
https://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?authtype=guest&custid=nsxxxxxx&groupid=main&profile=hee_eds
Download the bespoke QR code. The QR code generator may give you several size, colour and format options. The default option will probably work perfectly but do try others if not.
Next, go to the promotional resources workspace, download the editable poster that you want to use and open this in Adobe Acrobat. Click on the blank square frame where the QR will go:

This will bring up a "Select image" dialogue box. Click Browse, navigate to your downloads folder and select the bespoke QR code you created. Click OK and your QR code will appear like this:
